Oil painting forms the core of my practice. My work aims to explore atmosphere, presence and subtle emotional shifts through considered and subtle mark-making. .

This is an ink and watercolour drawing of a tree in Winter.

Drawing underpins every work I do. I use line to analyse and explore form, It is immediate, often intimate and central to how ideas emerge and develop.

This is a hybrid print of a blue horse using block print, mono print and coallage techniques.

Printing is something I came to late in my practice. I do enjoy the different pace and process and the surprise of the reveal at the end is often very rewarding.
